Scientifically formulated:
Use as a vary effective, child safe personal insect repellent and even a pleasent deodorant! Ingredients include:
Except 0.03% of Soya Lecithin, as an emulsifier, to mix the oils and water! Essential Oil Risk Considerations Our diligent development effort was due to our cats birthing of (4) kittens in the woods, but when she brought them to the door a day later, all the kittens were literally covered with fleas! Washing and rinsing a few times with mild soap water killed and removed the fleas but three kittens died over the next few days, from the serious loss of blood, infection and trauma! The fourth kitten lived, but at one month of age was stunted to the size of a healthy day old kitten! SO, KittenSafe was developed to both repel insects and kill their eggs but to also heal the inflicted damage and possible infections:
Our fine misting sprayer gives over 600 sprays per (4) oz. bottle, so it can economically be used daily plus every time your kitten go's outside, to repel any new pests! KittenSafe is so very safe partly because it leaves no lingering residue or buildup, evaporating in under an hour and the oils work by sufficating fleas, ticks and mites, not via poisons. Thus, to gain control, spray your cat or kitten daily, wetting any visible fleas or ticks! Also use it on your kids and your own skin when outside, to repel unwelcome ticks, mosquitoes, mites, flies, gnats, etc! The real goal with any pesticide product is to prevent them from bothering you or your pets! No bites = no aggrevation or health risks and without blood most pests can not reproduce! KittenSafe was specifically designed to repel or kill all of the following insect pests, while
at the same time being perfectly safe for ingestion by kittens and nursing mothers, as they
preen their fur. Your cats and kittens quickly learn to enjoy the spraying and the following
rub down, to get it to wet the fur and any pests!
Direct contact must be made on fleas or other insects, for the essential oils to kill them! The strong vapors, as the essential oils evaporate, will encourage insect pests to stay away! Finally, the rich ionic colloidal silver aids healing of flea and tick bites, kills most parasite eggs and reduces inflammation, discouraging skin damaging scratching! Cat Flea
Adult fleas live on the host animal for three to four weeks. They are so hardy, it is hopeless to try and kill them, unless really soaked, to sufficate them. Repelling them daily breaks their life cycle. Each female flea can lay about 2,000 eggs during that time, but only if she gets blood! This cycle is why you must work regularly with flea control by treating your pets, vacuuming carpets and treating your living environment on a steady basis. Ortho Borate flea powders (contain Boric Acid Powder) should be dusted onto your carpets and using a broom or carpet rake, repeatedly sweep powder into carpet fibers until it is no longer visible. You may prefer to use food grade diatomacious earth for even greater safety. it being eatable. The powders penetrate the carpet weave, where it kills flea larvae and flea eggs for an entire year (plus all other insects), by abrasion of their bodies protective wax coating and thus death from dehydration. For outdoors, the food grade diatomacious earth (not the swimming pool grade), can be dusted over the soil where pets frequent. Both are fine dusts, so be sure fans or A/C are off and work upwind so you do not breath an excessive amount. A powdered sugar shaker is great for spreading the fine dust. To retain control, you must spray your cat with Kittensafe before going outdoors, to encourage the fleas to jump off outside and to prevent fresh fleas from wanting a free ride inside. Spraying favorite bedding areas will also aid in killing flea eggs or larve. Cat Tick
A tick will climb onto grasses and shrubs and wait for a passing host. They have a sensory organ located on their front legs which helps them to achieve this. Once on a host, they move through the coat of the animal to find a place where the coat is thin. This is why ticks are commonly found on the face, ears and abdomen. The tick is designed in such a way that it is able to penetrate the skin with its mouthparts, to attach and suck blood. They drink until gorged with blood and puffed up 5-10 times larger, many people mistaking it for a wart. When fed fully after many days, it falls from its host and lays its eggs. The first sign of an unfed tick on your pet is a small grey dot or wart like spot. If you try to remove a tick, quite often the mouthparts are left behind and this can lead to infection or an abscess forming. Pull slowly and if it will not release, touch it with a Q-Tip with ammonia on it, to encourage it to backout! Apply KittenSafe a few times to the wound, to prevent infection and speed healing. Pin Worm
The eggs are very resistant to dehydration and can easily be dispersed in the air. Spray your pets bedding daily and their anal area to help kill the eggs deposited there. Cat Mange
Mange is more common on dogs then cats and is first evidenced by dry scaly skin and excessive scratching. Hair loss is common. Saturating the effected areas twice daily with KittenSafe should clear it up in a week. The essential oils kill (sufficate) the mites and the colloidal silver kills eggs and quickly heals the damaged skin! Ear Mites in Cats
It’s imperative to continue the course of treatment for at least a month, to cover the complete 3 week life cycle of the mite. If you have other pets, you must treat them also, as mites travel out of the ear and thus easily infect other pets. Bot Fly and Larva
The tell tale breathing hole in the pets skin easily identifies its presence, once it has grown large enough for you to notice the lump below the skin. Looking closely at the hole you will see the tail end or breathing tube of the warble. Cats tend to clean themselves of the eggs very well but can not reach their neck area, so most often they appear there. While disgusting to look at or think about, they do no real harm but some vets remove them by surgery. I have allowed a few to run their course and emerge on their own, at which time the body easily closes the wound. Later, I tried colloidal silver applied hourly and the breathing hole enlarged enough in a day to easily squeeze the warble out, while the size of a small bean. KittenSafe should work even better, with the essential oils aggrivating the warble. Like any grub or maggot, they can contract to a ball shape or elongate like a worm and thus easily emerge thru the hole. |
Our extensive research while developing KittenSafe benefited from recorded history spanning
more then 4,000 years, of essential oil use world wide! My daily use (research)
on many family's of cats and kittens was guided by both that data and FDA safety data
from their GRAS food or oral lists and skin safe cosmetic ingredient lists!
My "Eureka", for including colloidal silver as the powerful antibiotic
, was the realization I and others had ignored the seriousness of the damage and disease
introduced by fleas and other pet parasites!
